Lots of things happened! Lots of things happened! Too many arghh... This is gonna be a long post. And I've got no pictures!! Shizer.
Shooting Club ChaletShooting Club Chalet was awesome. Although my body is literally a warground with countless bruises and cuts, at least I managed to learn something. Oh man, those are the biggest bruises I have ever seen.
For the first day, we had to meet up at Tanah Merah Station at 1:15pm to catch the 1:30 shuttle bus. Ailin, Jiapei, Andy and I were in time... and we chatted a little while waiting for the rest to gather. However, turns out that Cheryl, Qiaowei, Desiree and Kelly were late! Although it really isn't Desiree's fault since her 14 bus took so long to arrive, and they were at the underpass at
1:29pm but the bus uncle refused to wait for anyone LOL. In the end they still got there in time, taking a taxi. lalala.
The chalet was quaint! It was at SAFRA resort la actually... been there before since pop's a member. Jeremy, nh, yuyan and calvin were there pretty soon, and nh changed his specs I mistook him for that... chinese IP1 scholar in archery loll. Anyway, we were feeling bored, so Ailin, Cheryl, Desiree and I decided to go to Changi Beach to catch crabs! WOOHOO. That was great fun. We moved rocks and screamed whenever we saw a crab scuttling away. It was pretty difficult catching them, but I was desperate, so I started the ball rolling by grabbing a
tiny crab and tossing it into the plastic bag that we got. Things got easier from then on. There were many huge crabs too! There was even one with a bright red pincer but we failed to catch it -_- We saw seasnails and seaworms and sea anemones as well. Disgusting man. Ohyeah, and we had a bet with Jeremy that we would catch crabs since he didn't believe us, but he still looked down at the crabs we caught??! RARH.There was night cycling too, and I didn't know how to cycle ): Desiree taught me how to cycle for the first 20minutes before we set off, and after that it was up to Yuyan and Sam who supported me all the way. I'm reallyy reallyyy reallyyyy grateful to them >__< I was being very impatient while learning, since we had to report back to the chalet at some time, but we were getting late so I was desperate to learn!! After a while, I got the hang of it.. but I still wasn't confident enough, so I kept stopping. I fell down a coupla' times too -_- It was annoying. After a while there was this loooooooooong route that we had to cycle ( from chalet to Changi Village and back to East Coast ), and this time it was Jiapei who taught me! Bleh, but I'm a very impatient kiddo so I sort of complained a lot while cycling. It was really exasperating for me and I felt like I was a burden to the rest of the people, but nahh they didn't think that way and I'm thankful for it.
I'm easily distracted while cycling too, so I tend not to talk at all :S So lame man. But yeah there were many times when I crashed while cycling, LOL like crashing into the drain -_- my hp and wallet dropped inside la!! but it wasn't so bad since the water in the drain was shallow. I think that's the reason for my bruises. -_-
After managing to reach the end, we rested for a while at Changi Village before setting off again. Unfortunately, this time we had to cycle in the rain and I wasn't confident of cycling back .__. So Chok Kee decided to fetch me instead! And Jiapei took my bicycle along. O.o Chok kee cycles damn fast. Yeah but in all, I'm really grateful for the Shooting Club for teaching me how to cycle... Zzz, and for taking so long to pick cycling up too. Thankyou! The rest of them cycled back to east coast to return the bicycles, and they got back pretty late o_o Like at 10+?! Boy, they must be shagged, but GOOD JOB EVERYONE XD
Besides cycling, there was lots of game-cubing and Wii-ing in the chalet. Super Smash Brothers was a real popular game. Lots of people wiied too, like the boxing game, tennis and golf. LOL, it was hilarious. Besides that, I played lots of Mahjong too, and come to think of it, it's the first time I played mahjong at any chalet! Oh wow. yeah but picked up a few skills and such so it was fruitful.
Oh, and the senior's farewell video was cool too! HAHA at least the club laughed at the right scenes, and the whole video seemed even funnier with their laughter XD
I left after the first night since I couldn't stay for the second. SO yep, that about sums up the chlalet (:
Outing with Jocelyn, Zuxin and Cynthia! The following day, I had an outing with the trio! Met at AMK hub to catch a movie. What an entertaining movie experience we had MANNNN.
It was 13 December! There were two movies that premiered on that day: Mr Magorium's Magical Emporium (whatever), and 投名状. We decided to watch the first movie, after eating our lunch at Subway.
So well, we entered the cinema. We were wondering where the advertisments went to, but nevermind we taught that we were a little late anyway. Okay, so the movie started. There was the story... the main character was dying... and the whole atmosphere was solemn... "He's taking a pretty long time to die," I thought to myself. There were some funny scenes hahaha, and finally the appearance of a character who proved promising... and finally! The main character dies. "Okay, the real plot is beginning soon," I smiled. Watching on, watching on. The promising character's potential is unleashed, and things turn to a better end...
AND THE CINEMA LIGHTS TURN ON....
AND I WAS EXPECTING SOME PERSON TO POP OUT FROM THE CURTAINS OR SOMETHING, but noooooooooooooooooooooooo....
CREDITS START ROLLING.
WAH LAU EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH....
I FELT DAMN CHEATED LA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (yes I literally EXCLAIMED THAT)
The four of us were left in shock! Confusion! It was such an entertaining movie and it just ended!!! WHAT CRAP. WHAT CRAP. WHAT CRAP. WHAT CRAP...
to comfort ourselves, we came to a unanimous decision that we should watch ANOTHER MOVIE. therefore 投名状 comes to play... That movie is definitely much better than the first one, living up to the ratings and standards of the advertisements. I'm not revealing anything, but that movie was really not bad. A little too deep though, but it was an eye-opener (:
btw, we realised at the last minute that it wasn't the first movie that was short, it was US who went into the wrong theatre! HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAA
THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE MOST ENTERTAINING MOVIE EXPERIENCE IN A LONG TIME.
Anw, by the time tou ming zhuang ended, it was already 5+, so we decided to eat dinner at sumo-house, this really cheap japanese shop. went on to zuxin's house later on, where we played mahjong and played daidi and played (for me, its learnt) bridge. It was great fun XDD
and there, it ended. I came back at around 11+pm, but in all, the day was highly enjoyable (;
