didnt want to blog today, but oh well here goes.

i went to my uncle's friends house at dunman road today. He stays in a terrace built in 1936! And after some furnishing and touching up, it looks rather quaint. I took a few pictures just for fun. The house was video-ed by channel news asia too! Impressive man.

Didnt rly socialise there lah. The ppl there looked rather cold -.- like dont want to talk like that one. bahhhh dont care lor. My sisters and I were once friends with the sons of my uncle's friend... But lol we havent seen each other in 3 years. strangers alrd lah.

ohyah and i slept for 5h upon reaching home from training today! I admire myself O_O

Feeling AP now... Xiuxian accidentally dropped the whiteboard marker under the fridge, and she was throwing a tantrum because she couldn't find it. I think it should be because of the dust and dirt that was found under the fridge, after her constant sweeping and poking of the broom. wtf, plenty of arguments after that lah, I shan't bother to rant on it.

I really can't remember what we did for school today. There was this amazing video on plant growth for Biosphere. Although some of the growth processes looked a bit creepy, it was pretty much eye-opening. Hahaha, the class was thinking of getting a venus flytrap/pitcher plant to put in our class since there's a risk of cockroaches getting in, after the incident of spotting a huge cockroach in my mochi box.

PE was tiring. After relaxing sessions with the J3 seniors, I finally got a taste of what true PE is like, by Winnie Lim. wtf lah 3 rounds on the 7th lane for warmup. I was running with minlu and she was already tired out by the end of 1st round: she kept panting profusely. At least she managed to complete it. After a short break, we had to do 100m of running, then sprinting; followed by 200m of the same routine, and ending with 300m. Omg that was a killer.

Then, shooting.. Tuiton... home. My life revolves around these 3 activities in school.

PT was um, relatively intensive today, since it was organised by Hanson. Alex was feeling sick today so Hanson took over!! We did 2 rounds, and some conditioning, and another 2 rounds. Desiree wasnt feeling well so she didnt attend PT with us. ):

Yeah but well, there was a soccer match gng on while we were having PT. HC vs NJ I think. LOL, Shiqi kept commenting on how shuai4 the goal keeper was, forgot which side. Hahah but i couldnt even see the goalkeeper from whereever I stood. It was either his back was facing me or I was simply too blind to see anything. X_X Yeah if I remove my specs I look like some blind toot who wants to sleep the whole day away.

Conditioning was zzz... there was this superman stance that Hanson told us to do, by lying on our stomachs and um, raising our hands and legs :S It looks like the club has spasms simultaneously whenever we raise them up. Oh well and there was another two more rounds of running. I was slacking around with Shiqi and hahaha we became the last few runners including Shannon. Hanson was running along with us trying to get us to run, but hehh... slack lah...

CAAL was boring... some talk by this person promoting volunteer work. bah. i was too busy changing names and screensavers on kristys hp. thats far more interesting than the talk. felt kinda guilty for nt listening to him talk though.

yeah I guess thats about it for today. theres morning training tmr...!! I should start training. heh... mr lee sort of chided me today during mental talk cos um, well, i guess i was disbelieving myself all this time by placing unnecessary glass windows and all. gotta start believing in my abilities...

Zzz and mr lee wants us to give him ONE valid reason on why we CANNOT reach 390/400. I guess for me now, its not having enough faith in myself. But of course he'll just answer me back: then put faith in urself lah! obviously... just gotta make sure im consistent in my beliefs and abilities. bah.

oh ma gosh I can't believe my memory. I'm losing my train of thought a little too easily these days. Or maybe I'm just tired out -.-

During Econs, it was rather interesting because at least our group was trying to discuss ANIMATEDLY on what that !@#$%& (meaning: piece of shit) supply-side policy meant. I shall write a poem on some assistance we received.

I woke up in the morning with a pain in my left eye. Was wondering whether it had something to do with the junk food I ate last night... :S It got kinda irritating. I thought it would go away after a while's sleep in the bus, but sadly I couldn't get to sleep on the bus as well >_< I tried sleeping again in the range today, but yuyuan's shout overhead woke me up >__< The pain is still kinda there.

Hmmzzz... I can't rmb what we did for school today. OHYAH it's Xiuhui's birthday today! THere was a huge banner placed across the corrider reading HAPPY BIRTHDAY XIUHUI! The banner looked really nice and outstanding man, so everyone in the level knows its her birthday now. My seat was facing the doorway so it was amusing to see the people react to the banner whenever they cross it. Whee~

There was econs project discussion in the library today, and yeah simply put, it was unproductive. Our group doesn't know how to search the library for information one lah!! So pointless! We're doing on Supply-side Policy and nothing about it is covered in the library because according to peixin, it's relatively new. Zzz... yeah everything about monetary policy and fiscal policy is covered in those books... GRRR.

Ohyah and I am appalled to realise that I forgot to staple the last pg (containing my conclusion) onto the rest of the compo! O_o I can't believe I made such a mistake. I think I was doing it in the dead of the night, so everything became slipshot. Ah well, at least I didn't fail it > <

Our halfday was postponed to today instead of Tuesday, so we got to leave school at 11.40. Lol, feels weird to leave school that early, feels like a holiday! Only Chinese, GC and Math for today, seems pretty slack huh.

Chinese and GC were both equally boring... Went through Chinese comprehension lor, and zzz, I think my Chinese standard is either dropping by a lot, or I don't know how to answer comprehension questions ): GC was. Slack. We went through the subject combis and all... Computing looks frighteningly interesting. Interesting in a sense that Computers appeal to me... And frighteningly because it's so, INDEPENDANT. ZZZZ. Maybe I'll just be humji and stick to PCME lah. I can just die for Bio, although maybe I'll die for Chem as well.

We got back Math papers today, AND MIRACULOUSLY I PASSED BOTH PAPERS. I thought I would fail my trigo paper!!! Kristy was pissed with me because I kept ranting on how I would fail my trigo paper heh. But realised that my 8mk question was right all along... Although for the last Graphical part I got 4/14 LOL. I don't knw how to draw graphs lah baituo~Calculus wasn't that bad, I didn't think of how much I got. But I minused 3mks at the last minute cos there was some marking error... Sometimes I wonder whether it pays to be honest, but well...

THEN IT WAS OFFICIALLY HALFDAY WOOTTTTTTTT

Kristy had drama after school so she couldn't join Huiwei, Desiree and I for movie. We went to PS for a movie though. Initially they wanted to watch Haunted School, but TOO BAD PS DIDN'T HAVE IT. ( I was so happy ) So we were decided what to watch after that... Was contemplating on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles HAH. But we felt it was pretty lame... Then we were deciding on Hearty's Paws (touching korean show) and The Messenger. ( !@#$% horror show) Zzz... I decided to give in to them and watch THE MESSENGER INSTEAD. I don't want to spend money to watch a show that'll make me cry. ( Actually neither would I want to spend money on a show that'll freak me out)

This is my rating on the show in a few words.

IT SUCKS LAHHH BLOODY SCARY ALL THE UNNECESSARY SOUND EFFECTS (that all horror movies have) AND WTHH YOU DON'T HAVE TO STAY IN ONE POSITION FOR 5 MINUTES JUST TO FIND OUT WHAT IS BEHIND YOU, YOU KNOW.

Yes, thats it.

Basically, this family moved from Chicago to North Dakota because the daughter did something bad lah. They moved into this house that looks ancient, and practically screams HAUNTED. I wonder why the father was so dumb to buy that house when it was so obviously dilapidated anyway. Yea but well, a series of chain events continue from there... All the shadows passing by the camera effect, all the things popping out from no where effect, all the bruises on hands because you've been touched by a ghost effect. You get the point.

I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND THEY HAD TO FILM THE DAUGHTER HOLDING THE SON (he's pointing at the ghost), STANDING THERE AND CONTEMPLATING ON WHETHER SHE SHOULD LOOK BACK OR NOT, FOR 5MINUTES. And in the end we only see her head move 90degrees, until she finally decides to turn 180degrees to find NOTHING THERE. Bloody sound effects, just trying to waste time only lor.

but all in all, it was fun. Desiree was damn zai man, sitting there and always staring at the screen and not moving at all (and eating her sausage for more than an hour). Huiwei was hiding behind her jacket and leaning towards Desiree. She makes cool sound effects like: wa kao, kns, ahhh! Since I didn't have a jacket, I was practically leaning across the seat towards Huiwei and trying to cover my eyes BECAUSE THE STUPID SOUND EFFECTS WERE MAKING THE SCENES EVEN SCARIER.

And personally speaking, I prefer the hacking and slashing to the scaring and haunting. (sadistic sia...)

That was all for movie. We proceeded to buy some presents for ppl and yea just hanging around Sembawang and Daiso and Spotlight and uh.. the toilet.

When we wanted to go home, WE REALISED THAT KRISTY AND HER BLALA FRIEND(S) WERE AT PLAZA SING AS WELL! She told us her balal friend (s) had seen the 3 of us going up the escalator. Being inquisitive ppl, we proceeded to search for kristy and her blalal friend(s). It was a tiring experience because kristy and her blala friend(s) did not want to tell us which part of dhoby gaut interchange there were at, when that whole place is enormous. Huiwei did the mistake of going down to the NE Line, and you know the escalator to NE line is LONG man. I advised her to hop to the staircase beside the escalator but aiya shes humji (lol, actually anyone wont) In the end we gave up our search and proceeded home instead.

How interesting. Kristy told me something else that traumatised me as well. ): Never fails to bring about a sense of loneliness.

There wasn't much today. Chem was in the IS labs, so it was freezing. We were going through test papers and all the hiong people were up there trying to collect marks. Unfortunately, a crowd appears after every question so the rest of the class (or rather me) was left freezing under the aircon. Huiwei was showing us this coin trick, where you try to make the coin disappear by doing something with your hands. Turns out it was pretty darn obvious all along -___-

It's a bad combination to place Econs and MI next to each other. BOTH CLASSES WITH TONS OF INFORMATION TO ABSORB AND LOTS TO COPY. Econs scared the hell outta me, with interest rates thingy, GPL-RNI graph, BLALALALALALA. Mr Ho made it seem like YOU'RE GONNA DIE A HORRIBLE DEATH if you don't manage to understand whatever he said.

But come to think of it, we will die a horrible death since there's only 1 term to cover the whole lot of Econs. And that stupid project work creates so much tension within the classes >___<

MI was cool. Gandhi rocks man. I love Gandhi and his cool indian accent

Just woke up from my nap. I have very weird sleeping habits: for this week I've been having naps right in the middle of the night, like from 2000-2200, 2200-0000 hehh! Then I wake up and walk around like a zombie and attempt to do work before falling asleep again ^^

I nearly missed my stop at njc today. I was feeling chao sleepy again due to the wet weather, and while the bus was at the HC area, I miraculously managed to have 2 20s dreams O_O The first one made me believe that I was somewhere else in Singapore; the second one made me believe that I alighted at the 2nd HC stop. I saw Charlyn and Roddy there as well! Roddy was doing something weird [like throwing a tantrum... :S], so Charlyn and I decided to make a move first. The next moment, I realised everyone was alighting at NJC stop alrd. Freaky mannnn~

We had our first Econs lecture today and it was VERY BORING >.< Having classes with 03 is very stressful: they're like machine guns: PIANG PIANG PIANG a whole artillery full of questions. Even the indian scholar, Samat or Samath (or whatever lah), knew more about Singapore history than WE do. O_O 04 is like a monastry with meditating monks as compared to 03 man. Either that or 我们是吃玻璃长大的。 The teacher dao-ed us totally -.- Kristy and Joyelyn managed to SHOOT BACK SOME QUESTIONS HAH. At least our class won't seem so stone to teachers.

We got back Chem paper today! I passed lah at least.. but there were a few careless mistakes which cost me dearly ): Zzz, well its over no use harping on it.

PT was fun today HAHA. We played captain's ball again. Maybe it had been such a long time since I last played Captain's Ball, so today's game seemed especially fun. I was captain at first and sinhuey kept smacking her hand into my face because she was defendor LOL. At least I managed a few decent goals. Became a normal after that and just hung around the goalpost lor. Its been proven that idling around does have its benefits after all HAHA. Shujen was pretty quick with the ball too!

Decided to train after that after much pushing >_< Zzzz... but at least it wasn't as bad as the last session.. Managed to get a decent standing and cheeking position. Stil the same problem on lack of confidence, but more or less tried to overcome that problem today. Shooting seems more fun now

Talking about confidence, Jingmin said that it was pretty obvious that I looked like an unconfident person. It took to me as a shock since she wasn't that close to me, and if even she could detect that, I wonder what the public thinks of me too. It was how I express myself she said. Kristy thinks so too. I asked Desiree the same question during training, and yea she has the same sentiments as Jingmin. The problem lied in how I expressed myself as well. According to her, I tend to stutter a lot. I didn't realise how serious a problem that was until she told me :S I think I'm much more confident as compared to in DHS, so I guess I wasn't even human in DHS if the situation really is so LOL.

And its strange to realise that Desiree sometimes notices me being emo in class. LOL, I don't think I'm thatttt emo. Sometimes I just like to stone and stare into space. That gives me a look that's deep in thought, so I guess she thinks I'm being emo as well. She says that I always have a confused look on my face too. SO WEIRD! I didn't know my face could express emotions so well.

Anyway, training today was good for the first 30shots. Shot blank card for the first 2 series, and well, there were a few stray shots here and there. I guess my mental is still pretty weak since I had some problem concentrating. Mostly its due to trigger freeze and wrong timing.. I waste too much time in aiming, so my relationship goes off pretty quickly, and I end up shooting badly lah duh.. My last series had a darn big grouping -.- Zzzz... I got to work on mental.

Problem: inconfidence

I think this is becoming more of a Shooting blog than anything. The whole week is occupied by training thats why.

Training today in school at 0830. zhang jiao lian was there to coach us, and we started with holding the gun twice for 10mins each. It was super tedious because we werent allowed to lift our cheek from the cheekpiece for that 10mins! WTH, I was nearly stunk to death by my gun since its so BLOODY SMELLY. IT MADE MY SUIT SMELLY TOO LARHH. And at least we were allowed to breathe [if nt i'll suffocate], and I guess the objective of this training was to make sure our position is stable. Unfortunately, my position changed the more tired I got -.- I felt like the gun was slipping out of my hands, and felt like I was sinking more and more into the ground. It was a killer the second time I did it again.

Then there was mock competiton... ): I did pretty okay for the first 20shots, around 90+s, but the further I went the worse I did... with 80+s for the remaining two series. ARGHHHHHHHH... I guess my position and relationship went off pretty quickly. There's a problem with a stamina I guess. And I wasn't focusing on my relationship too, so there were a few careless shots here and there. Twice did I accidentally go off in my aiming, and those shots weren't good as well...

zhangjiaolian changed my position as well, encouraging me to thrust my hip sideways when I shoot. I guess I'll have to accept it now, with my current situation. The irony is that the coach says my stabiity is much better now, so why are my shots still so inconsistent! Sad life...

Hahaha but on a lighter note, went to Coro for lunch, and there was more time to bond with the club there at least. Golden Rooster was packed so we had to make do with Cosy Corner, and I ended up ordering this crappy lunch set that looks like its worth $2, when it costs $4 -____- ZZZZZZ... ohyah and we saw a few archery boys too

Went off to Bukit Timah Plaza to watch them play LAN later LOL. First time I really stayed in a real LAN shop, the other one at Tiongbahru looks like some kiddy place with Maples everywhere -.- The feeling was pretty eerie though, in some dark place with computer screens illuminating. Watched Singhui play Dota and she chose Death Prophet i think... The rest was a blur. :S:S Calvin was pretty good at dota, he leveled up to 26 quite fast, and was pwning sinhuey like nth... He had this cool attack that turns ppl into sheep LOL. The different streaks in dota were pretty funny though, GODLIKE! WICKED SICK! and the person pronouncing it was really intimidating as well lol.

yea tt's all. ran to ona's hse after tt since i was late but ah well, she wont mind (:

this post is gna be about shooting so it'll get boring.

i went for training ytd and today... and sadly my performance wasn't good for both days. my legs were leaning too front on monday, and it was pretty streneous on my back and my balance. i always felt like falling but i didnt feel the fall since i had my suit on, and yea well my shots were all left again. i tried my cheeking position that i attained before ntu invitational, but it didnt work at all... my position is rly getting inconsistent

well, for today, i tried standing properly by not leaning too front. my aiming was considerably higher than ytd's, but now the shots were even more to the left!! it was kinda sad, all my previous efforts all gone to waste and returning to where i started. my aiming became kinda screwed up too: i couldnt even see the card!! decided to shift my cheekpiece more to the left, and yea it helped a lotttt. but my shots were still landing on the left, so i sighted my gun, and it became center... but for the last 10 shots my relationship problem suddenly came in, so it was left all over again! and did badly for that last 10shots too... ):

its weird how come ur relationship can make a difference of THREE POINTS NOW and not LAST TIME. i've got so many problems kicking in, and its strange because these problems dont rly affect my score previously as compared to now.

so currently, i think my problems are
1) cheeking
2) triggering
3) how much i lean back
4) breathing
5) relationship

and yea it all boils down to confidence again...

Overall, Bonding camp was at least much better than last year's (: I bonded much more within the team... but not much outside the team lah. It's kinda sad.

The camp started off with a movie About a Boy. Zzzz, I. Really. Had. A. Bad. Experience. With. That. Movie. -.- I remember watching it when I was P6 and yeah it was kinda crappy.. I read the book, and yea, I couldn't understand the story at all -.- Oh well, it's British, just a little bit of slapstick humor here and there.

Yup and the station games... All of a sudden, Zhirong and I became station masters. We were only informed after the movie lah. Initally our stationgame was like those Primary school kinda games: balancing a beanbag on the head and jumping through hoops kind zzzz. Well, Zhirong changed it into balancing water on heads and shooting baskets. I think our station gives off the most points man, with the record being 260 O_O It was bloody hot on that day too, I was practically roasted.

There was BBQ in the night and we were bbqing satays... Shiqi and Chok kee were having some niaoing session in indian accent and it was damn lame. The variety of food was quite wide, at least wider than last years, which had tons of sausages /_____\

There was the skit presentation at night, and yea ours was DAMN CRAP LAH. With Joannah this kind of hentai person of course our stuff will be crappy. The Archery one was LOL REALLY VERY R.A esp the rope one... O______o The rifle boys one was quite crap too with the kangkong and cowzila, and the pistol boys that 花样 one... The skit by the pistol girls was by far, the most decent /_\

I was tired out after the skits, and too many things on my mind. Didnt feel like playing monopoly or captains ball (too lazy la) Shiqi and I went to bathe since we both didnt want to play. After that, we went to haha, look at stars. Not like someting I would usually do.

There were quite a lot of stars that night, and I learnt more about constellations, like Orion's Belt and the Southern Cross. Shiqi and I were singing some songs out of my ipod while looking at the stars and it was quite fun really (: Qianling and Shannon came to look at stars after a while too. The moon was really yellow that night, and I saw it move up the sky! LOL, sounds really swaku hor. But I don't really indulge in such activities so yea, its quite astounding. Ooo... and I saw a shooting star as well.

It was quite peaceful looking at the stars... Rather relaxing lying on the track too. Brings back all the memories of the past too though...

It also reminds me of coordinate geometry, and of dear bob lee.

Yea that was abt it. Went upstairs to watch ghost game with joannah, zhirong and desiree. joannah and i had a hard time looking for yixin's laptop becos we left it in the pistol boy's room earlier, and yea everyone was sleeping with the lights off and all. we thought yixin took back his laptop too so we (or rather me -.-) went to the rifle boys room to check it out. i woke up leonard in the process > <>

...the movie sucked by the way. It ends with a cliche, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! sucks lah... and everyone died. But no matter what, i still hate ghost shows becos they scare the hell out of me. and zhirong had to sniff so loudly at the most tense moment.

yea and there wasnt much the nxt day. didnt really bond much outside the team, and tts kinda sad.

Lol, long time since I've updated. I wanted to update ytd but I was too tired out from bonding camp. I guess today's post is gonna be really long.

ROADRUN

Ahh, that dreaded roadrun that started in the morning. It wasn't as bad as last year, although the route was the same. Frankly speaking, I thought it felt quite short O_O Maybe I'm already used to the track route in NJC alrd...

Desiree finished in 18th place! Huiwei, Kristy and I didnt get anything lol. Kristy was feeling rather breathless halfway so she rested while Huiwei and I continued. Lol we were strolling along the last stretch UNTIL CS SUDDENLY SPRINTED PAST US. That means we're faster than CS x) Oh well the route was different anyway.

For prize presentations, only Jingmin from our class got a medal (: she finished in 8th place... And omg, BOB LEE FINISHED 1ST FOR THE MALE TEACHER'S RACE o_O Mr Nah finished in 2nd place and this JC math teacher finished in 3rd... Ms Tay finished 1st for the Female Teacher's race though (: I can't rmb the rest.

THEN WOOT KBOX SPREE!

Been such a long time since I went to Kbox... Yeah went with the usual ppl, Huiwei, Desiree and Kristy :):) Destressing after exams lah ymy... and singing makes you happier too. Lol, my voice is naturally low so I'm always singing the male part in duets, then Huiwei and Kristy the niang niang voices will sing the female's part lor. DESIREE DIDN'T SING COS SHE'S HUMJI AH!!

Something funny happened in Heeren that day. Well imagine a scene of peace and tranquility.. and all of a sudden FOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM, and next comes Huiwei's AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! And then laughter coming from the heavens. Turns out that there was a fountain in Heeren that shoots water all the way up to the top level! It's astounding how water can scare the hell out of Huiwei so much. There were some boys on the upper level who were laughing at her

the fountain which scared huiwei. Look out for it at Heeren!

Days of mugging are finally over hurrah. Actually I don't know what I'll be doing other than mugging o_O Maybe playing more computer or reading manga, watching anime blah... Procastinating :)

Ytd's studying was tedious -.- I wasn't in the mood for studying at all after my TRAUMATISING ORDEAL WITH TRIGO MATH PAPER >___< LOL, I couldn't do most of the questions and I was "sighing very loudly" as stated from Kristy lol. Yeah I always sigh very loudly if I have a problem or something. The LT was freezing, but luckily I brought my hoodie along lah. Desiree didn't bring hers!! It was surprising how she managed to survive.

Chem was not so bad I guess... Not many comments on it.

Well, the road run is tmr. You know, our class hasn't ran the roadrun route at all! Yay, let's get lost :D:D Nah, we'll just follow the crowd anyway. I haven't exercised at all since NTU invitational. Nevermind, I'll just gag and die halfway while running.

Oooo... and Camp is tmr night too. So exciting! Desiree asked me to bring the clothes and put them in the range early tmr. So meh fehnnn~ Yeah but really looking forward to camp anyway. Bet its gonna be fun ^^

Talking about papers, Physics was okay bahh... I finished the paper around 30-40 minutes before time O_o Double-checked the paper to spot some careless mistakes in time... And I think there was one question regarding FBD of the elevator and box that I got wrong. What's the difference between part b and c anw?? Bahh... forget it. I was mentally drained after that paper, almost on the verge of falling asleep since I slept quite late the night before ><

Xiulun is leaving for China tmr because she signed up for some immersion programme there. Lucky for her, she gets to go to such programmes at such a young age. Lol, and because of this programme, she spends most of her time smsing and chatting with her friends on MSN and on the phone to discuss sitting arrangements on the plane and room arrangements in the hotel. -.- Well... this programme is quite a package: SIA flights!! She's taking the night flight (departing at around 1am+, i think) and LOL, I'm forcing her not to sleep!! Watch the movies lahh!!

ASSESSMENT WEEK IS COMING AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I think most of the NJCIP bloggers are talking about this la, so I should talk about it too.

I'm sick and tired of mugging and mugging and mugging its making me sick. and i dont care if i repeated sick twice this just reinforces the fact that im really sick. And my stupid runny nose isn't helping by always running. -___- Minlu says my nose can participate in the Olympics. Yeah man I agree, I bet it'll run hundred times around the Earth if I bother.

Mugging has an extraordinary sleep inducing effect. On study day i practically slept it away. -__- I did study, and I think my sleeping time>studying time. Cool man, now mathematical symbols are getting into my speeches.

I should just follow Mr Chia's method of mugging.

1) Burn your notes, mix with water and drink

2) You knw there are such temples whose incense smoke can actually bless you for exams. Instead of following those impractical people who go there just to receive that little amount of smoke, bring a vacuum cleaner along and suck up all of it! Not only are you reducing air pollution, you just got yourself a sackful of blessings! :D

That's all I can remember. Blehh. I need more methods!! Or maybe you can use the traditional method of using dice and blaaaaaaa. that only works for MCQs anyway.
