Teacher's Day Celebration

Hey look at the time! It's 4:17am XD I am a night cat. Rawrrrrr.

Teacher's Day Celebration was okay, quite okayyyyy lar. I didn't do much, cept make FULL USE OF THE EXCUSE TO GET A MIRROR FOR JOYCELYN (: to go down to the range and get it for her! With Minlu. Then we decided to be nice friends and stay with Audrey and Mufeng to accompany them in wrapping presents for their Music teachers. They got them body shop stuff! Sweet. Oh by the time we got back everyone was preparing for Be Yourself Day already. Ooops, we missed Aces day workout...

BE YOURSELF DAY WAS SUPER FUN XD. I didn't wear anything outrageous, just my normal red and black stripey shirt (with ahem, dog ears on the hood) and black shorts. And a cap that I borrowed from Zhirong. HAHA DAMN POSER. But I don't care. Desiree and Huiwei were wearing the same shirts too! Because we got it from the same shop, just that Desiree's shirt is Black and Grey and Huiwei's shirt is Pink and Black. Theirs is more like a sweater instead of a shirt cos its long sleeved... but they have longer ears on their hoods so their called bunny ears. And they have a fluffy bunny tail too! :3 Minlu dressed up as well, she wanted to look like Marianne Tan but I think she looks like a Cowboy instead. I should have brought the strawhat that we got from the CIP so she can top it up :P HAHAHA. Kaiting was cool too since she looked like a ROCKER! She even had eyeliner from lynna to complete her outfit!

Okay, that's all for the dressing up stuff. The concert was next.. and it was... a little bit boring... Yeah agree with Desiree (from Desiree's Blog) that the skit is appropriate for the theme for Teacher's Day (Cirque), but its damn lameeeeeeeeeeeee. T____T Erusha and Chris were singing some songs that sounded quite nice, and teachers got interrogated on their private lives. Wooooo~~ Nothing scandalous though. Mr Menon is already married.

After that went off to Curry Wok to eat with Kristy, Lynna, Kaiting, Amalina and Daniel! It was quite fun, we talked quite a bit, about our heritage... and our dialect... and why Daniel has a phobia for fish... and other other stuff. It was entirely random. Then we went to play POOL. I don't fancy pool (cos i suck T_T) BUT NEVERMIND BECAUSE I HAD AMA TO ACCOMPANY ME XDDDD We found each other when we were playing against each other, and we realised we both suck as well. HURRAY FOR NOOBRONG AND NOOBAMA! or TYCO RONG AND TYCO AMA! (cos of all the tyco shots we get XD) But okay maybe Ama doesn't suck as much because I saw OUTBURSTS OF IMPRESSIVE SHOTS occasionally. Ama has a lot of strength manzxzx. And Lynna and Kristy were like, the zai people, cos they play silent game, and both of them can play super well. Maybe cos Kristy got secret training la hor (HINT HINT) Kaiting is also not bad at playing too, and Daniel is superb T_T I think he gets the hang of things quite well.

Yeah and after that, went off home.... I met Mingquan at Cityhall to catch up on times, and its been such a longgg time since I've seen him. But also not that long because he's the SAME AS EVER: talking at 637289 words/minute and being lame. I think he's overworking himself by balancing dance and council together, but well since he enjoys dance just let him have it then? LOL and there was this funny thing that happened, cos he was working with his juniors, and I was asking how did he help? And he was like "To be their boyfriend", and I SWEAR I shouted through the entire shop. WHAT??!?! THEY ASK YOU TO BE THEIR BOYFRIEND??!?! I wanted to burst out laughing.

Hahaha that's all. Then I went home, and the night was filled with fun and laughter and I want to do it all over again (:

Going online

You're busy, you have a lotttt of hwk that's piled up to your chest. Yet you STILL go online, ASSUMING that no one will talk to you, when in a few minutes or perhaps hours time, SOMEONE DOES, and somewhere in your heart you are HAPPY that the person talks to you because it gets immensely boring doing work all the time. And you two talk, and talk, till the sheep come home. And in the end?! Not even 50% of your work is done.

We should not give in to temptations, no matter how desirable they are. Yes but saying is easier than doing it, currently I have because I am now blogging about it. Some extra post to pass the time by I guess. I really hate school.

What a familiar feeling, and I can't stop it from growing, manifesting, invading my inner self.

WCG + Cosplay at Suntect Convention Centre

Met Desiree and Anh at Cityhall MRT, and I think Desiree and Anh waited for me for 15 mins. .__. Whoops. Anyway, I didn't expect the event to have that much WCG and so little cosplay... SO zzzz... i was a bit bored... After a while Anh was the one walking around, and Desiree and I simply followed, because we have no idea what we were doing there at all.

Besides that, the quality of cosplay there was good though, some of them better than Cosfest. This is in spite of Anh SOMEONE (who ah who ah) who kept commenting on the cosplayers continuously. There was this D.grayman group who was great! They even had the Count there! Sadly, they didn't go on stage because of some technical problem :( And by the time they were done we had to leave already, so forget it.

Oh we met Fuddy there too. He was there to watch WCG obviously, and Zheyu was there too! Fuddy has the honour of gracing my camera first. The photo is blur though, because I didn't want to weird him out by taking his photo too long.

And we realised that Fuddy does have some fashion sense after all! Looks not bad ah, I think my blog will increase in viewership from today onwards XD but actually at closer look his face looks very loooooong. a bit like eugene teo.

 

Desiree and I were very bored. So we started tying shoelaces. And we realised that tying shoelaces was even more entertaining than walking around someplace we had no interest in T_T

Okay we cant say that its entirely uninteresting. There was a decent cosplay competition that was held, and they had the most amazing characters. Like...

After the entire event, we met up with Fuddy and his Friends to plan and eat lunch. But Fuddy and his Friends are filthy rich, because they wanted to go NEW YORK NEWYORK to eat, but Xiu Rong and Friends are POOR, so we could only go FOOD REPUBLIC.

.... but even after being in Food Republic, we still couldn't find something decent to be eaten, because the food there was EQUALLY EXPENSIVE. Desiree can only afford the "Vegetables with Oyster Sauce" which costs $2.80, or the "Tofu with Sweet Sauce ( I think)" which costs around there too. T___T We were sad people.

So we decided to go down to Mcdonalds at Marina Square instead! I ate a lonely McFlurry there, while Desiree ate her Fillet 'O' Fish meal and Anh (fat) his upsized Mcchicken meal AND another mcchicken. We talked a bit, and that was all. Home we went.

I went to my Mom's office since she had to do some work... And i decided to do some work too because I felt very unproductive there. Ohhhhh! And all of a sudden I went to research on some Olympics stuff because THE OLYMPICS STARTED YTD!! Awesome news. Heard from Desiree that the Rifle Women Finals ended last night, and she had a website that updates scores immediately from the Final Ten competition!! :OOOO Totally cool. Well, but the results are out:

5th: China (got 1st last Olympics)

I really do think I'm damn aunty. I think its only when I speak chinese la, then I'll sound like Zichao zomg. It sounds so... coffee shop uncle! :/

Today we played Volleyball for PE. It was super fun, although we couldn't get the ball over the net, especially someone hor, whose name starts with K and ends with risty. Eh who ah who ah! HAHAHAH! But can see a gradual improvement in her, so its good! The pair of us played ball with Cheokwing and Gil, and they were gooooood lor. Hahah, like Gil quoted " how do those brazilian beachballers do it???" Yeah how!

Lynna wasn't feeling well today, so she went home early :( Leaving me ALONE. Okay luckily the last lesson was Chem la, besides stinkin' PW. So not so bad. We got back some Chem worksheets, and I'm super pissed with myself for making STUPID mistakes. They are like BASIC CONCEPTs! Sucks man, makes me feel so dumb. And promos are coming... although I don't want to say it on the blog... Hope no one notices...

'Sides boring consolidation lecture, which was steaming cos the aircon was not on for some reason, the ride home with Davina was enjoyable ^___^

National Day Observance Ceremony 2008

This was held on Saturday... Actually Desiree and I were supposed to get down to End-of-Season BBQ but zzz we had to go for this instead, because it was a COMMITMENT (as quoted from our dear friend xuyaoru)

Had to report at 1400 at Commonwealth MRT. Thankfully Minlu called me earlier, if not she would be late, since she thought it started at 1430! But well, I was the earliest to report (SHOCKING), followed by Desiree, then Huiwei, then Joycelyn, Zuiqiu then Minlu. HAHAHAHA Zuiqiu was hilarious in his TRANSCULCENT coffeeshop uncle white shirt. I was laughing my head off.

We went to gather with the rest of the NJ people... and basically stoned for most of the time, before we got assigned duties. Meanwhile, we were chatting and talking about school stuff, and I decided to crack this SUPER FUNNY JOKE that Zichao thought of. Some Econs thingy, maybe I will post it up someday. Oh and all of us went down to the icecream uncle to get some icecream. I think the favouritist things that I enjoyed about this CIP were the times we went to get food :)

Anyway, I felt like our presence at the CIP was a bit unnecessary. Besides making sure people don't sit in the wrong places and opening gates for people, there wasn't anything significant for us to do T_T I spent most of the time walking up and down and around the place with Minlu, because we couldn't find the place we were supposed to be... We didn't stay there for long though, by the time we found it, we were dispatched somewhere else.

Minlu and I had to make sure people don't sit at where the performers were supposed to be. It was VERY DIFFICULT and HIGHLY ILLOGICAL because the place where the performers were supposed to sit was SHADY, and the place where the audience had to be was UNSHADED! And it was a super hot day!! I felt a little bad for shooing the public away, but some of them were very cooperative so it made my job a whole lot easier. I tried to find some places where the public could sit, but erm.. that meant sitting on the grass...

I have to admit that the NDP atmosphere was really in the air then. It was not the cynical skeptical feeling that I get all the time in school when singing National anthem, but the passionate enthusiasm that I felt then in P1. And I laughed when I saw this ahma dancing to the National Anthem. Haha, how cute.

Joycelyn invited Minlu and I to Shengsiong to get some food stuff. Yay, my favourite. We were greeted with crazy Huiwei and Desiree who seemed to have contracted the NDP disease, because they were singing passe NDP songs. After their craziness, we went down to Shengsiong to get our wonderful food. Minlu and I decided to get a carton of Fruit Tree Fresh YAY! Its the best and most worthwhile purchase ever, I will stop buying tiny bottles from now on. Desiree got 10 cherries, and in 5 mins, all the stalks of the cherries were GONE because we were trying to see who could tie a knot with the cherry stalk with our tongues!!! The ones who could do it were good kissers! :D

... And ZUIQIU OWNED THE COMPETITION BY TYING IT IN RECORD TIME! Okay I didn't really time him, but he was really very fast! Hidden ability in Zuiqiu eh. and next in line was... DESIREE!! She could tie it too! And next in line... (after 1h...) was MINLU!!! yay she deserves the most hardworking competitor award because she had been going on at it for almost an hr.. Huiwei withdrew from competition because she couldn't get the end of the knot to get through the loop, supposedly the most tricky part of tying. AND WELLLLL, I was DISQUALIFIED!!!! XDDDDDDDDDDDDD

because I spat the cherry stalk out while looking at Zuiqiu's conceited face because he tied two stalks faster than us. As quoted by Desiree. LOL I REALLY PPPPPPPPPPPTTTTTTT-ed THE ENTIRE THING OUT MAN.
