Today was fun

Today I went out with my sister. And I realised how NOOB my sense of direction is. I'm too used to walking around aimlessly and hoping I'll land up where I want to be.

After realizing that the ICA building was closed so my sister couldn't make her IC (haha!), we decided to head down to Raffles Place to FIX MY STUPID SIM CARD. I thought it was the phone that was faulty at first, until it made more than 5 spare phones in my house HANG. It hangs when I access my inbox and sent messages. It also hangs when you want to view your "1 new message"! Sometimes when you're lucky, you do get to access it, but you can't get out of the screen where you type the message! So I end up restarting my phone, to realize that the message has been sent AGAIN. So I sent two messages at one go. Whatever, waste money lar.

So! We went to the nearest Starhub Centre to my house to change my Sim card... I was talking to the customer service person on how to change it, and yeah "Oh you can go to the OCBC center to change it (:" So off I went!

I don't frequent Raffles Place at all, so I just like, referred to maps and asked people. I asked an Indian Security Guard and some random Indian guy. We walked so far lar! It was so difficult to find. We finally reached it and we saw this RED building, like totally red, cos OCBC's main colour is red. And we asked the security guard whether there was a Starhub Centre there, to realize... "No there's no Starhub Center here!" ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH, we should have realised. It's like, a WHOLE BANK IN THE BUILDING how can there be my thing there! :(

AND I CALLED MY MOM AND REALISED ITS UOB CENTRE NOT OCBC CENTRE! Woe is me...

We didn't even KNOW where UOB centre was, so we asked this other Chinese security guard in the OCBC office building. His directions were kinda erm, useless too, cos we ended up somewhere weird. We reached OUB building instead. I can't stand this two UOB and OUB you know, they sound similar! But the meaning is entirely different. One is Overseas Union Bank, and the other is United Overseas Bank. It's really annoying why the letters O and U are used interchangeably.

We walked back to the MRT to find our way around more easily.... AND WE REALISED THAT, WE WERE LOOKING AT IT FROM THE VERY BEGINNING! The first building we feasted our eyes on when we went out of Raffles Place MRT! *bangs head on wall and dies*

I was really bored, and I wanted to be cheeky, so I found a map of how far we travelled.

YOU SEE, THE DISPLACEMENT IS SO FRICKING SHORT AND WE HAD TO MAKE A BIG ROUND AROUND RAFFLES PLACE. *cries*

UOB building is just the one on the right. So near right! So near right!

I'm being dumb. Ignore me. Oh at least my phone is fixed now. Yay.

Dream

I had a weird dream today, and it was HORRIBLE.

I think it started with me being in a hospital. It was a normal hospital, with white walls and brown handle things on the side of the walls, if you get what I mean. Then I was walking along peering into the rooms. I saw Alvyn rushing past me frantically, and I wondered what the whole commotion was about..

The next moment, this teacher called Mr Liew asked me into this room and told me to staple paper. I started with my job, and realised there weren't any staple bullets. I was kinda worried because Mr Liew is strict and if I didn't do my job I'd probably get scolded. So due to some stroke of luck I found a single staple bullet and stapled two important papers together. I think the staple bullet wasn't strong enough, cos the papers ended up loosening. But I didn't care anyway, so I placed it into his tray.

The next scene was me in this hospital room witnessing this other teacher dying. I don't know what was his name, but I could see him gasping for air before breathing his final breath...

I left the room, and I saw Mr Liew reprimanding Alvyn, or more like interrogating him. Because Mr Liew was looking very stern and scary, like he wanted to demand the truth out of Alvyn, who was obviously shaking in fear. Turns out that Mr Liew was accusing Alvyn of murder! Cos he was last seen rushing out of the dead teacher's room frantically. I was really worried for Alvyn. I walked away to avoid being involved...

Then, Mr Liew came up to me and interrogated me as well! I was frightened out of my WITS, and I can still remember his dark face looming up against me with his eyes shining with menace.

"Its your fault. You didn't staple the document together. Do you know how important that document IS?"

Then I suddenly had a flashback that the document was supposed to be for Alvyn to pass to someone who will go and help the teacher who was dead. But the second paper was loosened, so the message didn't get passed properly, and the teacher didn't receive help in time... ( the order of events doesn't make sense? But I'm pretty sure that's what I thought of in the dream )

I was overwhelmed with disappointment and fear for my betrayal of Alvyn! Then the next scene I saw Mr Liew interrogating Joyce for I don't know what reason, but seems like she was dragged into this entire situation too. I was genuinely afraid and did not know WHAT to do!

Then I woke up and found myself on my mattress. Phew, relieved that it was merely a dream after all.

CYCLING!

I went cycling today with my sister! But the important thing is, I can ACTUALLY CYCLE! YAY THATS AWESOME NEWS.

We went to East Coast Park to get bikes, and it was $12 for 2 bikes for 2h! Quite a reasonable price. My father was around too, and he jogged while we cycled. My sister and I got red bikes with white streaks on them, looks quite cool. But when I boarded the bike it seemed to have a mind of its own it swerved very violently. So my father was saying that I was swaying left and right during my 1st KM T_T

Cycling with my sister was fun! but mostly we cycled with one in front and behind, so it became quite lonely like that T_T I had fun looking at people, and things around me (: There was this "How long can you endure?" event there but sadly there were only a few people around when the emcee was making his closing speech. I saw a flat frog! And exclaimed to my sister who said she saw it too. And... there were lots of angmors there, and sometimes I hate it when they keep ringing their bells. Ugh. But there are some nice couples too, like one of them who said "Hello!" to me, and I replied with a "sorry!", cos I thought I was blocking their way. There was also this... wakeboarding place. This huge lake with people performing their stunts. And we cycled toward the Outward Bound area too, and there were people testing out their remote-controlled cars so it was like a mini F1 race.

I keep cycling slower than my sister, and I believe its the GEAR, not my SKILLS. Cos I DOOO pedal as quickly as her but for some reason she can speed up faster than I do. The gear was quite confusing, instead of normal numbers there was H and L, so I didn't know what they meant. Just rotated them back and forth lar. Anyway, at least I can climb slopes better than her!!

OH BUT I FORGOT, I crashed into two people cos of my "awesome" turning skills. They weren't hurt okay! I just scared them to bits because of my JAMBRAKE. That screeching sound the tyres make when I press the brake down. Oh well!

Well it was a rather... INTERESTING EXPERIENCE XD especially when my sister told me "walau! so long still doing this cosmetic surgery project ah?? like one year liao leh!" yeah man, one year of torture (or not so much) but also FUN! XD

I think our group is quite efficient too so it made things easier for all of us :D i still remember before the OP, Joycelyn brought Wheat Grass drink for us to soothe our throats (: THANKS JOYCELYN! And we did a mini "COSMETIC SURGERY!" cheer before our OP XD Imagine that! 30 minutes of intensive presentation and QnA and everything is over :)

The OP was actually quite fun for me ! I was a bit nervous at first, but eventually I got used to the stage and presented rather smoothly. :) And I'm so GLAD at my team mates for their teamwork XD Especially during the BATAM PART HAHAHA! Mr Heah and Mr Low were our invigilators! Contrary to Joyce's and Kristy's reaction, I was rather nervous that it was THEM because both are SHOOTING CLUB TEACHERS DIAOOOO and Mr Heah has high expectations > < I freaked out a bit when he raised his hand too, I thought he was asking me a question, but turns out it was actually the 4:30 mark T_T

CLASS OUTING!

hurray, class outing was really fun, and turn-out rate was high too! So it made things even more fun XD

I met Huiwei and Fudi at Harbour Front MRT first, and set off to buy some stuff from Watsons before meeting the rest at Vivomart. Desiree couldnt join us because she had her grade 7 piano exam... anw, I saw this really... HIP?! DHS girl at Outram Park MRT. Hip is not exactly the best word because I have never seen a DHS girl like that. She had permed hair and it was brown O.o Not what a normal DHS girl is spposed to look. Here's a pic! I took a picture of her. I think I may be sued soon >_>

yeah but well! After meeting Fudi and Huiwei we met the rest, aka, Kristy, Kaiting, Ama, Qingyun and Xiu Hui at Vivomart to get stuff... We bought chips and drinks, which in total cost lesser than 30! So you can see that we were short of resources... Mostly drinks though. We finished the drinks rather quickly.

Then we met up with the rest! Aka Wanyun, Jingmin and the scholars, before setting off to Sentosa (: We sat on the monorail towards the Beach Station, and we took lots of photos there. Can be found on class blog! And there was one photo in which Huiwei and my heads got cut off :( Cos of Chiansiang's lousy photography skills hint hint. Oh yeah and before I forget, there was this guy with the same shirt as Fudi HAHAHA. Some Heineken sleeveless. Just that the guy looks more buff, and Fudi looks lyk some scrawny man in comparison. But to put things into perspective Fudi looks better, the other guy looks uglier. (:

Well we reached the beach station! And trekked a longggggg way before reaching the correct place. Well we played a few games first. Like soccer with our legs BINDED TOGETHER. I was binded with Huiwei, and we had to hop around on one leg to kick a ball around. HAHA I SWEAR OUR LEGS FELT LIKE THEY WERE GONNA DROP OFF! Cos we kept pulling each other along with the raffia binding us together, and its quite difficult to kick the ball around anyway. Zhuochun was the only one who didnt get binded, so he had the FREEDOM of kicking the ball around normally. So naturally, the team with him around won T_T

Next, we played dog and bone!! That one was quite FUN XD but most of the time there were so many people around the ball and no one had a chance to get the ball in the first place... Jiasheng, from our team!, managed to get the ball rather quickly once! But he SLID BEFORE REACHING OUR SIDE >_> And got tagged. Rather sad. Oh well. I could see lots of people looking at us O_o That's cos everyone was making so much noise.

Then we played captain's ball (: A typical game. After a while it got kinda boring, so we played bench captain's ball instead! In the end I think our team won, with Zheyu from our team and Fudi from the other team being the last people standing. Hahaha.

I think the guys went off to play basketball on their own, so we stayed at the pavilion to play bridge. Then we saw Lynna, Daniel and zuiqiu coming over with bikes! Kristy and I silently declared that we couldn't ride a bike >_< So she decided to ride a bike for her first time! And me for my second time! Actually I was taught how to ride a bike by my senior Yuyan last time during Shooting chalet... But I was still rather lousy at it, so I wanted to see how much I could go. HAHAHAH STILL REMEMBERED I DROPPED INTO THE STINKIN' DRAIN OKAYYY. And as quoted from Desiree during the shooting chalet...

Anyway, Wanyun and Chiansiang kindly decided to teach me, but wow due to some miracle! I could start off pretty well! :D But it was STILL EMBARRASSING because I could cycle STRAIGHT,but i couldnt TURN! I was cycling in the pavilion so if I continued cycling straight I would have CRASHED OUTSIDE ALREADY LAR. So thankfully i stopped. Kristy was still learning how to cycle, but by the end of it, she managed to at least cycle straight! Which was no mean feat already (: I learnt how to turn properly too, and I was spending most of my time making circles in the pavilion. But I'm still quite afraid of people appearing in front of me though. Like the last time during shooting camp I would seriously freak out when I saw someone pop in front of me. Anyways, Ama was cycling along with us too, and we decided to cycle back to the beach station to return the bikes. Doesn't seem like such a long route after all, when we cycled back XD

But that day was rather horrible too, cos Daniel and Kaiting lost their bags O_O We were searching high and low for it, but to no avail, which was quite a disappointment. It was not so bad for Kaiting becaue her valuables were all in a common bag, but for Daniel he lost his handphone and his wallet! With all his important cards inside O_O So its kinda serious. They reported the matter to the rangers but zzz.. dontknow how long it would take before they find their bags back...

Desiree came over to meet us at sentosa, but it wasnt long before we went off again lol. To Vivo for dinner! There is no way we can fit everyone into a common place, so we bought some packet food and went to the skygarden to eat. I met Minlu at PageOne, and we went to Subway to buy food XD And Minlu so pro DRANK HEINEKEN! I tried some, and didnt fancy it much, because it was kinda bitter and had this weird taste in my mouth. I tried this other alcohol cola from Fudi too and actually that one tasted quite good. A lot like Cola, but still the bitter smell. Desiree didnt like the smell from alcohol, so the scholars were trying to suffocate her with the smell HAHAHA "HHHHHHHHHHHHello Desiree." The others were playing bridge AGAIN. I think 96% of the class knows how to play bridge already lar T_T

We went to the arcade to play after that, and I spent most of my time playing Para Para! The hand one lar duh. but it was really quite fun! Kristy was damn pro at it she could even Ace the Hard level, while the rest of us (Daniel, Minlu, Desiree, Xiuhui and I) looked quite funny cos we were focusing on getting the thing CORRECT instead of being in STYLE. And there were some other pro people who were playing and watching us, it kinda stressed us out > < Well, thats the end of the enjoyable class outing, Quite a long post huh. Oh well
