Ok I haven't been blogging much of late... There's training camp tmr till saturday, and I haven't started packing. Packing, is, a, chore -___- There's senior's farewell stuff to do too! I think it's gonna be quite fun hahaha.

There was friendly competition between CJC and NJC today, and it was quite fulfilling for me since I managed to calm myself down and shoot properly. Desiree and Nicole kinda had it bad since they had the darklanes, and it affected them pretty much. But well! I know they can perform much better (:

Camp is going to be rather boring without Peixin and Joannah. They can't make it because Peixin has holiday and Joannah has some family stuff... Shiqi isn't coming too since she has KSA attachment. Now it's down to: Nicole, Desiree, Cheryl, Qiaowei, and I. Sigh... We've got so few people...

I can't really remember much of what I did the past few days. Basically its training, training and more training. Can life get any better? No!

Life goes on

This week has been fruitful, finished my job period already (: I accomplished quite a bit, and learned to crunch numbers very very quickly too. Many thanks to the help that I've received and the free lunch treat that Alvina gave me during my last day hahaa.

The science seminar was quite... hmm, FUN too. I met Jocelyn earlier, and we were discussing stuff about our jobs and exchanging experiences. lol, seems that she's more sian than I am. Well, we got to the Science Centre in time, with Jocelyn feeling rather regretful that she signed up for it cos she thinks that it's all gonna be old people lol. But no la, there were some youngsters, and no bad ah even ah ma also go. The talk was on Artificial Intelligence, but nah, it wasn't regarding I Robot kinda stuff, basically more commercialised and focused more on how a simple control can create something so complicated. Morphology, jargon jargon jargon.

the only thing that I remember about the seminar was.... The free dinner! HAHA, it was the first thing that caught our eye when we entered, and we were like: shit la! Shouldnt have eaten dinner just now LOL.

Jocelyn and I finished all the food!

look at our triumphant faces!

Went to Orchard today with Kristy, Huiwei and Desiree and we shopped quite a bit. Haha shared many offers with Kristy, including buying a REALLY COOL SHIRT, and two belts (: I'm wearing the shirt now so I can't post the picture of it up awww. But it was fun, although Far East's atmosphere doesn't quite agree with Kristy's body. And she was having some biological problems too so it added to the discomfort (:

And well, these two days many things have been happening. Albeit the above events, there were well.. Life situations. My neighbour recently passed away... And although I wasn't so close to her, we were once neighbours... and I still remember the day the civil defence came to our level and hmm well. My sisters and I didn't want to look.

NJC PE teacher, Mr Stephen Loh, is alive till confirmed.

I feel quite sad for these people's families.

I seem to be having nightmares every now and then... Sadly, I don't scream and shout during my nightmares so no one will know and yeah, I'm just left there.

1) Nightmare of quarrel with Desiree. Over some money matters.
2) Nightmare of quarrel with Chiansiang. Over some... trivial matters. There was a plastic bag involved?? And stationery. It was quite a heated argument. ): I remember him saying "I don't care."
3) Nightmare of being late for a performance. And I was performing! I remember it was because my car got vandalised. Someone wrote : 欠钱换钱 o.O And uh, Lyon's (DHS) parents came... and I met Deborah Sim from my primary school which I really want to meet again, we've totally lost contact although we were best friends for a while.. And I remember, Bee, Desiree, Saniah? were performing in the show too and they were dressed in this blue and black striped costume yadayada. I don't know, it's weird.

I remember it so well because I just had the dream today. I was so thankful when I woke up.

This reminds me of Isaac in Heroes, where he can paint the future. Lol, isn't that literal.

And I have a science seminar with Jocelyn today at the Science Centre! It's about the Human Genome Project. Sounds interesting (:

Look! A Slacker!

Yeah I'm slacking now -_-. From my job. I have a job! Hurrah.

Not like it's any fun... But yeah, as stated from Jocelyn, it's easy money. Simply entering data. Tons and tons and TONS of statistics. I'm working under a company that records the number of people who take taxis from for a certain time frame, and yada yada you get the point. A private company under LTA, like the... econs supply-side policy... PRIVATE FINANCE INITIATIVE. Correct right. whatever la.

I love places like Clarke Quay where few people take taxis, that means lesser statistics to enter, which means lesser mistakes made, which means LESS EYE-SQUINTING TIME! I hate places like BUGIS JUNCTION, PARKWAY PARADE and basically everywhere else in the central, because LOTS OF PEOPLE TAKE TAXIS. My god, my hand literally breaks when I finish with these. My eyeballs feel like they're dropping out man. And I sigh a lot, yeah irritating huh.

At least this wasn't as bad as my first day. Oh, it was HORRIBLE. First day: I rushed down from training, and I got 225 sheets of survey thrown onto me. " Tabulate the answers for these surveys and report to me the EXACT number for each company for each question." it was a survey to judge the efficiency of each taxi company in singapore. Total 5 questions, 7 companies. That means 225 x 5 questions in total, and permutations with 7 companies yada yada RARH. I DIED while doing it, REALLY. My head wanted to CRACK. Since I got 224 or 227 when, she specifically wanted 225!! -_-

Monotonously entering statistics is chicken compared to that man. That is why i'd rather do this.

On a lighter note, there are free drinks served x) And the boss is nice... You know I'm typing this and everything is clearly visible to the boss... ohohoho..

Anyway, I'm only working for this week. So I'm leaving tmr. Kinda sad really, my life is back to mundane normal again. Watching Tree of Heaven (SO NICE RARHHH :'((((( ) and Heroes now. Heroes, freaked the hell out of me for the preceding episodes. LOL, CHARLYN I UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU MEAN.

ok, i willl not slack. GET BACK TO WORK YOU MINION.

BTW, MY TRAINING (SHOOTING) RESUMES NEXT WEEK. CHIONG AH!!!!!

"datte,
watashiwa zutto kanashi toka
sabishi toka
dakara

taskete kure yo"

Ah yes, there was class dinner at Ms Rahaa's house today! Thanks to Ms Rahaa's mother for cooking nasi lemak for us... the chilli was nice (: And there was a lot of food cooked as well! Hope it doesn't go to waste, but yeah it was really satisfying.

My cowboy hat very weird meh?? It's fine loooooooor, anyway, I expected this kind of reaction anyway -_- No one wears hats in Singapore, but WHO CARES, it's cool! XD And I like my ostrich too, although the beak looks kinda blasted.

Kristy, Huiwei, Desiree and I met earlier to get a present for Ms Rahaa. Erp, I don't think the others have seen it, so here's a pic,

they've turned into scarves!

okay, that was lame.

LOL, ok the smudge on the heart wasn't on purpose, it was because we weren't too used to the marker, so it was a little screwed. Ms Rahaa had better iron the scarf man! And THANK GOD, she's going to New York. It had better be cold. Desiree got a cute scarf for her sister because she was going to Netherlands. So good! I think it would be really sweet if it was really knitted, since the pattern and all that looked like it.

Anyway, Bt Batok MRT was quite near Ms Rahaa's house, so we got there in no time. Her house is soooooooooo quaint! Lots of their furniture is woody, so there's sort of an antique yet cosy feeling to it. She stays in a mansionette too, so it's pretty big. I like her living room! Because there's BRILLIANT surround sound that comes from all four walls! Great for movies man XD We were watching Hana Yori Dango 2, and Ama, Charlyn and Lynna were spending their time yakking about Yamapi Yamapi Yamapi, and Kurosagi, Proposal Daisakusen yadayada. Oh and they're watching Nobuta too, hurhurhur. Wanyun, Jingmin, Xiuhui, Joyce and Lava were spending their time playing bridge, as always. I wonder when they will ever get bored. The rest of us were simply watching the show and stoning... and I was laughing at how Lynna pronounces Japanese words because it totally sounds weirddddd LOL. And ah, Chiansiang was spending time looking at fish (: How interesting! Aiya but he wasn't interested in the show anyway...

Lalala, and we left pretty early manzxz. I left at around 9.20 alone, and ran to meet Kristy and Minlu at Westmall for some short shopping. We were trying to pick some clothes for Minlu since she looked, ahem, a little too young for her clothes. hahaha we should go shopping one day man (:

Yeah, that's about it.

NANA!

And yes, my parents came back from South Africa today! They arrived in Singapore at 6am, and Xiuxian and I were courteous enough to go fetch my parents from the airport k! Hah! In a taxi too... Thankfully we reached there in time, they were collecting their luggage from the conveyer belt. So it was a pleasant surprise when they saw us (: They got me a cool cowboy hat! I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT.

Was supposed to meet Zuxin and Jocelyn today too... I met Zuxin at Tiong Bahru Plaza, and went to meet Jocelyn after that at her workplace, since I had to familiarize myself. I'm getting a job in Data Entry at Beo Crescent, pretty near my house, so it's quite a good deal. I had this interview with the person-in-charge, and it didn't seem that bad a job, so it should be fine (: Jocelyn said that it was mundane too -.- I hope I won't rot.

After my interview, Zuxin and I left Jocelyn in her office busying herself away ^___^ Zuxin was playing Sims 2 and HAHHH, she created this Harry & Hermione pairing, with Hermione looking more mature than Harry. And she seemd like a total noob! But it was okay since well, she hasn't played it before. (: We watched Nana the movie later, and it was AWESOME! To me, the plot seemed patchy, since there was no proper link between the scenes. I don't know how it was for Zuxin though, but all the actors brought out their role pretty well (:

hachi no kawaii ne~ starring Mika Nakashima

nana! starring Aoi Miyazaki

trapnest

nana and hachi at concert (:

hehehe... the movie is really good... Hachi looks much cuter, and Nana looks cooler in here! oh but the best is still..

TAKUMI NO SUTEKI! <3<3

OMG I REALLY GOT A SHOCK WHEN I SAW HIM OKAY! HE LOOKS SOOOOOOOO COOL! XD

yes, so after i get over my shock, Zuxin and I went to look for Jocelyn at Tiong Bahru where we ate our dinner... We ate Ramen though, and Jocelyn was being such a KIAM-GIA, by asking whether we had to pay for all the stuff that they gave us..!! Like peas and WATER. LOL, she's damn funny. After that we just spent our time talking in Burger King, talking about everything in the world. It's been such a long time since we last talked like that, so this time it was extremely fun ^__^ And uh, I still don't like Jocelyn's keychain, I STILL CANNOT BELIEVE SHE GOT THAT FROM THAILAND!

................

Haha, and yes. We got ice-cream from Macdonalds after that, and spent more time talking. Lol, i think we talked all the way till 10+, but it was worth it (: Oh, and the people at Macdonalds were commenting on my cowboy's hat. Because I uh, was wearing it around like nobody's business ._. It was a really cool hat! I'll post a picture of it next time.

Memories of Nobody

WAHAHAHA I FINALLY WATCHED BLEACH: MEMORIES OF NOBODY! I'm lag I know.

Memories of Nobody

The art for this movie is goooooooooood, like really good. I admire the artist for spending so much time on this intricate animation and such. There is really life in characters in this show, like every small action is drawn out and such, and it makes the movie more appealing like that (:

There are not gonna be any spoilers in this show, so GO WATCH IT! I feel that the storyline ran a bit too quickly at the beginning, reminds me of Secret, but the ending was really sweet ^___^ aiya, look at the pictures.

Call forth the Twilight, Mirokumaru!

daiguren hyourinmaru

senbonzakura kageyoshi

SENNA! Kawaii~

LOOK AT THE PICTURES AND BE AWED XD

MONEY

You know what, I love money. It's the darnest important thing in the world, despite what everyone says. Yes, Love and Care and whatnot are more important, but COME ON, reality speaks for itself. WE NEED MORE MONEY!

It was Lynna's birthday on Monday! Happy Birthday, lil gal, you're finally sixteen. Youngest in ohfour too huh! Hahaha but hope that day was extra special for you (: Unfortunately for me, I couldn't join them, since I had another outing with Jocelyn, Audrey and Weiliang from DHS. We went to Katong Shopping Centre for... Karaoke! MUAHAHHA, really looked forward to it after all the singing sessions in OBS. We went to some place called Teng Guan; it was quite ulu but the prices were darn cheap: $18/room, which means less than 10 bucks for each person! We sang for three hours, and wanted to extend but sadly the room was booked after that ): Weiliang and Audrey sang darn well la! And Audrey is simply the queen of 转音 man... RnB all the way! And weiliang's singing has definitely improved...

Anyway, we should go to Teng Guan for karaoke next time. SCREW KBOX, it's so expensive.

Okay.. then there was the Nehru and Elizabeth Choy watch outing on Tuesday! HAHA Really looked forward to it... Since there was SUSHI BUFFET! XD I don't think I ate quite a lot though... I wasn't counting plates like Sebebe, Chooyun and Gero. I think each of them ate more than 10 plates?? Hur, I was just stealing food here and there, and randomly selecting food from the computer. -_- I ate too little la, not worth it, considering that I spent $28..!! I.am.seriously.BROKE. Eugene was ahem, "entertaining" us with his lame jokes. Some of them are NOT FUNNY. But some of them were pretty good, like the 一石二鸟 one LOOOOOOOOL. That was the best man. We went arcade after that, and created quite a commotion by the icehockey game, since it was like 4 V 3, and hands were scrambling all over the place, screaming into people's ears, bending backs and getting aches all around. Cine's arcade isn't really good though, but well better than nothing ^__^ Went back quite early though, around 9+. Is that late? Haha, considering that we were out from 7 I think its quite early -.-

Today is wednesday, and the normal everyday holiday routine begins again. So of course the day starts with shooting, shooting and more shooting. My back is gonna be so crooked by the end of this holiday oh man. But at least I can shoot erm, properly now? In my opinion at least... or maybe I'm too easily satisfied. Went to Marina Square with Desiree to get this hat too, so expensive lar! But it looked pretty nice. So well dumdeedum, the day was basically like that. Now I'm back at home, with the computer as my best companion.

Thank you Nicole for treating me to noodle lunch today. I really appreciate it, REALLY! I'll repay you once I feel richer.

Parents are coming back from South Africa tomorrow. Lucky them. I'll be there waiting, waiting for my "COWBOY HAT" that they bought for me. HAHAHHA

NEHRU!

this is going to be a verrrrry loooooong possssssssst.

OH HURRAY OBS WAS GREEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT! XD
NEHRU AND SEMANGAT ROCKS MY SOCKS MANZXZ!

THANKS YOU: CHUYUN (CHOOYOON), DIANA, DAVINA (小的!), SANIAH (GLORIOUS!), GERO, BEE, JEN, CHRISTINE, EUGENE (色behbeh!) AND MATTHEW! (CRISPY EARS!)

ok, anyway, the whole obs thing was great. Initially it was a little uneasy for me to be in Nehru since I wasn't especially close to anyone. Chuyun became my best buddy from then on (: She kept money for me! Thanks loads girl. And ahem, she couldn't stop commenting on my ahem, pouch of mine.

I shared a room with chuyun and diana (: I love chuyun for her wonderful wonderful clearasil that stops my pimples from popping from all that perspiration coming out when we toil tediously. Hahaha, Diana was certainly entertaining with her endless rant on her dear rabbits! Our room was certainly amusing man.

Anyway, there was this mini kayaking expedition first, and I kayaked with Saniah and Chuyun. We used a tri-yak instead of a kayak, difference in it being that it accomodates three people instead of two. It had been such a long time since I last kayaked (hur, last obs -_-) so it was quite refreshing to start kayaking once again. Oh and there was the jetty jump! The jetty jump was pretty cool, and thankfully there weren't any fishes down under that would enter our pants when we fall. And I remember Jiasheng was the most entertaining when he jumped man... got pose somemore wor!

There was the cross field expedition that we had to do as well, walking around here and there was VERY TIRING AND EXHAUSTING. We had to find markings on trees that were around the OBS land, and wth the markings were like NO WHERE TO BE SEEN. Walking through the forest was certainly a killer with all the sandflies and mosquitoes and many random insects like SPIDERS. I was grouped with Rachel, Amanda and Jocelyn, and many thanks to Jocelyn who swapped bags with me when we were trekking half-way. Anyway, our group met up with Bee, Gillian, Tiff and Chuyun halfway when we were trekking! Their markings were rather near our's on the map, and it was quite a miracle for them to be able to meet us at the same place since they entered through some unknown pathway. Yes, but there was lots of screaming at spiders and such, and looking across the gate towards Malaysia (:

In the end we returned with nothing but dirt and soil.

Sailing was the main event on this OBS trip, and our sailboat was SEMANGAT! THAT MEANS SPIRIT IN MALAY MAN! We certainly had much spirit on this boat. (on our way to Campsite 2 and Sembawang) We spent some time under the scorching sun learning how to set up our sailboat and wth, wanted to sleep already la. So in the end, WE HAD A LOT OF TROUBLE TRYING TO SET UP OUR SAILBOAT. I was in charge of the sail at the back (i forgot its name) with Eugene and Matthew, and wth we had so much trouble trying to recall that stupid bowline knot. LOL, and we er, accidentally let one end of the rope fall into the water LOL. The whole setting up process took about two hours in the end -.- There was this huge swash freaked the hell out of our teams, and we were desperately trying to get our balance on the boat, and at that moment, I GOT MY FINGER CAUGHT IN THE BAR THINGY. I don't know how to describe it, but its the region where the pole holding the sail, and the base connects. So my finger got caught in that region and wth, it really stung.

It took some time for us to reach Campsite 2, but still a good feat for amateurs perhaps. Thanks to the canoists Gero, Bee and Matthew and Eugene for transporting us back and forth from the campsite or sailboat. There were so many variables to control in the boat, like the jeep and all that, tacking and jiving and the dreaded DIPPING. It was all so tedious. Shujen and Davina are pros at Dipping! Everyone played a part in bringing us all to safety, but still there was captain Matthew who made it all right.

Sleeping in the Sailboat was HORRIBLE. I didn't sleep a wink at all, and I was hopefully waiting for Chuyun and my turn for night watch, which was after Jen and Christine, when I suddenly realised that they did around half an hour more -.- Because I dontknw I totally did not sleep that whole night, most probably cause I was sleeping out of the Basha shelter , and I could see lightning flashing and thunder booming. I really did not want it to rain, NO I DID NOT. ohyeah and eugene was sleeping next to me on the boat. it wasnt so bad, then suddenly i felt the boat vibrating, and that added to my fear of the boat having some problem, then i realised that it was eugene who was snoring LOL. Okay that wasnt so bad. then his leg kept on poking mine, so i moved my leg then. By the end of the day I was driven to one corner. Nevermind. In the end it was Chuyun and my turn for night watch, and it was really an entertaining time with her (: I realised that there was more news in the IP than I realised after all -.- ohfour is certainly quite ignorant to these stuff.

Still when I finished Nightwatch, I did not sleep. The next moment, it was morning already. Sian. Oh and I had some trouble peeing by the rudder there too > <

Hahahah the morning ritual for the sailboat was the best man, because not only was it refreshing, it meant toilet time as well! XD If you get what I mean ;D Poor eugene didnt know how to swim, so Nehru was supporting him all the way! And of course he was touched la because we were constantly pushing him hurhurhur.\

Oh, and before I forget, there was High elements too! We were climbing up the Indiana, this large high element obstacle course that was in the shape of ship. It was damnn scary man and I kept on shaking and trembling on the tightrope in the middle element. I think I wasn't being serious enough since I kept on slipping off the tightrope, and being too reliant on the belayers that were right down there that kept me from falling. Hur, at least I managed to pass it (: Desiree was damn pro at the high elements la! So was Jen and Christine (: Gero, Sherlene and Amanda tried the middle elements after me too, and -.- they performed better la.

Shizer, I forgot to add in the last kayaking expedition that we embarked on. We were supposed to make our way through these mangroves and back around to Campsite 1 again. I was kayaking with Matthew and Diana, yay, at least the power was ahem, evened out. It was really thankful for it to be HIGH TIDE, compard to last year when it was LOW TIDE my god. The mud bank was totally submerged in water yay! So that means NO MORE MUDDY SHOES XD Matthew wanted to attempt kayaking right through the mud bank, but sadly I think we didn't have enough power so we were just stuck there in the middle -.- I nearly drowned in the river too lah, since I had to get out of the kayak to push it into the water, and jump into the river to get back up. Nevertheless, it was really fun but still exhausting, and there were the few memorable moments when we were singing random songs like "Hey There Delilah" and songs from Click Five hahaha. I really enjoyed this kayaking experience (: Of course, we reached destination 2.5 hours earlier too HAHAHHA! Although our food bag was mostly eaten by Diana but ITS OKAY (:

we ended off our OBS expedition with another high elements component, and woot it was certainly nerve wrecking. We had to climb up a really high distance, jump, and grab onto a trapeze, SO IT WAS REALLY SCARY. It was more like committing suicide man -.- At least I managed to complete it though! So it was a major accomplishment for me, although I slipped off the trapeze after grabbing it. hahahaha but it was glad that everyone managed to finish it asap (:

okay, this is done with all the major components. there were many memorable moments too, like the sick jokes of peeling bao o_O (...BAHAHAHAHAHHHAAAHAH!!), and Matthew's BRILLIANT imitation of Diana, the random bursts into song, and the totally wonderful wonderful lunch and mealtimes (:

Most importantly, fishballs are goooooooooood.

I was too lazy to scan, but yes THIS IS NEHRU (:

I need to rant

This is all nonsense. It's regarding Nana.

Omg, I can't believe it! She must be utilitarian or something, or thinks that she's some divine goddess that's willing to sacrifice everything for world peace or something, but why did she agree to this relationship?? With Takumi! Does Takumi like her?? Ok yes maybe he does now, but DOESN'T HACHIKO LIKE NOBU! DON'T THEY LIKE EACH OTHER! WHY WHY WHY!! *bangs head on table*

Now, this does not make any sense, but who cares it's just rant. Lol, these comments are more fitting for a forum than for a blog.

I really won't know how to handle it if I were Nana (hachiko), but perhaps if im in her situation I'd understand. This is like some Philo dilemna. Hah, but I doubt Nana's good intentions would be put across effectively. Nobu's gonna be so crushed, sigh, he's gonna be soooooo crushed ):

It's easier to complain about things but its difficult to actually solve them.

NANA!

t dDenise was right when she said once you watch Nana you can't stop. I'M HOOKED! XD But at least I'm not as mad as her, watching all 52 episodes in three days. I'm gonna stop after posting this.

The characters in Nana are really cool, basically its just an introduction to Rock Bands and Jpop, and basically all the complicated ongoings in society. It's all about human feelings and emotions intertwined with one another and yeah, it just ends in a really touching anime. (:

I TOTALLY LOVE NANA'S ENDING SONGS! A Little Pain and Starless Night, sung by Olivia Lufkin, or OLIVIA for short. She's mixed blood and her voice and songs are totally amazing! :D

There's another singer who sang the opening song for Nana too, Anna Tshuchiya. She has that kind of cool charisma about her that makes her rather popular, haha, and she's certainly a perfect portrayal of JPOP. Other than rock bands such as L'Arc-en-Ciel. kekeke..

The art of Nana didn't appeal to me initially because it looked rather weird and all, and yes, when I watch anime I take the art into very huge consideration! But yeah, the storyline practically covers it up, and each character certainly has their unique traits that make them so endearing ^___^

Nana movie! LOOKS COOL, will watch after I finish Nana anime series (:
