It was pretty slack today, since it's council publicity (???) day! Wahahah... the days where council elects get uptight and nervous about their speeches and preperations, while normal civilians like us ponder on whether to pon the day or not sit in the lecture theatures and listen to them preach. It was sad that Kristy couldnt join us because she's an old timer counciller so she has to run around tending to the poor council elects.

They started on a different approach this year, albeit the normal council election speech. We had to proceed to LT5 first for a debating session. Oooo. The elects had to think on their feet and handle the debating topics that the audience had thrown to them. It was quite a tough chore really, and mmm... so far none of the elects have impressed me yet... despite a few scholars with their accent and ideas. Hur. Topics of discussion weren't that interesting for my session... I heard there was a topic on the "Socialising between IPs and Mainstreamers in the cohort." I think that's far more interesting than "Leadership can be expressed through Service."

Oh but the topic on "Is NJC a mugger school" caught my attention. LOL, yea mugging isn't a bad thing lah, just that we can't be nerds and mug every single minute of our life. Nevertheless, we still spot some guys sitting in front of us mugging "JC2/IP4 H2 Chemistry". Irony huh. They were pretty noisy though, and ESPECIALLY enthusiastic when the elects said "NJ IS A MUGGER SCHOOL!!!" They raised their notes in unison. HURRAH!

Lol, but actually I spent most of my time playing handphone games/listening to mp3/looking at huiwei's i周刊

There were the normal council speeches at LT1. The speeches weren't the interesting part; The Q&A was! I think what the audience want is to see how councillers can think on their feet and handle problems on the spot. Zzzz, I was quite amazed at some of the questions posed, since they harp on details I didn't take much notice on. Ahhh well.

Our session ended pretty early... 1030!! I think its the earliest of the lot lor. Desiree and I proceeded to the range since we thought we had to do some banner things but yea in the end no one was there. We were um, somewhat rudely interrupted when making our way down to the range, but zzz got over it -___- Stayed around in the range slacking lor... Sleeping, playing more handphone games, watching ppl play pool yadayada. Minlu came down to the range too, and she was so absorbed in playing Sam's flying game in her handphone, that she couldnt play her piano properly anymore LOL. I don't know why we still have CAAL since its such a useless subject. We went up to class again to fill in this pointless WS and thats it. Diaoz.

Helped out a bit with banner before going home. that was all.
