WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.


Swimming wasn't so bad. Did laps as usual: freestyle, breaststroke, trapwater (ohman that was difficult), diving!! And yep that was about it. Qingyun did come today and I was swimming with Charlyn and her. Nothing really eventful though. Hmm, ohyah the water was not as chloriney as before when they cleaned the pool. :D

Went to KAP for lunch with Desiree, Huiwei and Kristy later on. LOL, Kristy iss a big eater. She ordered a hotcakes meal and a bigbreakfast. LIHAI. I ended up eating one hotcake for her OHOHOHO. Ohyah, and she sprinkles salt all over her meat AND almost the whole packet of maplesyrup onto her hotcakes. Yeah and she still manages to stay so thin. Trust her to have high metabolism rate huh! Ehehe, I have a phobia of maplesyrup from now on.

Ohyah, and we met Huiwei's Tianjin friend. He wasn't as bad as I expected. I sort of imagined a rolypoly boy with geekyspecs LOL. At least that was the impression that I had in mind. At least his specs were nice: red and black. Haha how random.


Went back for Bio. First disgusting thing: WE DISECTED THE HEART TODAY! Wasn't that fun. At least it wasn't bloody and dripping with blood. X_X Mr Nah was showing us the sheep's heart, and I am surprised that a sheep's heart has more fats than a pig's heart! Yeah anyway, he was cutting it apart with his scapel and showing us all the pulmonary arteries and atria etc. And there were bloodclots stuck along the aorta. Ewwwww. Jeremy said it looks like raisins. Ask him go and eat it lah.

Yep, and we started to disect the heart ourselves! It was kinda fun actually, but Desiree and Huiwei were pretty disgusted and Huiwei wanted to puke X_X And I was kachiowing Kristy on the dimension of the heart and making her crazy over my endless ranting of: BUT WHAT IS THIS? I THOT THIS IS THE VENTRICLE?? lolll you can imagine.


Thennn, there was SPIRE. The oh-so-dreaded SPIRE. I didn't think that SPIRE was that bad, UNTIL TODAY. Okay so Huiwei and I went to Coronation to buy some oranges for the rotting experiment again...

and OMFG the oranges that we used previously were all ROTTEN TO NO END. It was really rotten and reallyyy disgusting. REALLYY disgusting. I think we can probably breed penicillin there or smth. BUT IT WAS DAMN GROSS so it don't care what was in there. I don't have the picture with me now, its in the camera in the Sigma lab. I hope I can post it up by tmr.

Yeah, so unfortunately for us we had to put the beakers of rotten orange juice into the autoclave first for sterilisation. It took pretty long, like around an hour plus before we got everything ready.

NOW GET READY FOR THE MOST DISGUSTING PART.

Once we took the oranges out of the autoclave, WE NEARLY FAINTED DUE TO THE !@#$%^ SMELL. WAHLAU EH! WHAT KIND OF THING WAS THAT LA! The rotten orange mixture was like, COOKED. Some of them were charred and totally black in colour, while others were darkorange :S And there was this ARGHHH smell from it, and it smells like soup for goodness sake. That is a bad description of how smelly the orange juice was, but really I though that it smelt of soup. Veryyy disgusting and inedible soup that is. There was one beaker in which all the black stuff was stuck on the base. Crap we had to mix it with water before washing that. And I accidently poured the whole mixture into the basin, so there was this clump of (idontwanttoknow) stuff stuck at the drain. And I had to pick it up WITH MY GLOVES (SHIT LAH!!) and throw it into the bin. It was practically clogging up the whole sink omg..

And unfortunately for me, now every small thing that I smell reminds me of that sickening orange smell. What the shit that was the worst smelling thing that I ever smelt, besides the rotten jelly that I left in school for the chem atom model. Bahh, that one sucks totally.

I hope no one pukes after reading the post above. If you did then, TOO BAD! XD

ohyah and I picked a bug up on the track today. Its lovely. I shall call it buggy. Or maybe I shall call it NH instead.

oh wait NH isn't lovely. If the bug's name is called NH, I hope it wont decompose in a day or two.
