....everything is dying.
There's an article about Desiree's RI friend on the coverpage of Home today. It truely is rather sad that someone would die at that really young age, especially when the future is promising for that person. Heard from Desiree that his Maths is like, PRO. And he's smart and everything, RI standard. Hais, life is inevitable sometimes.
Steve Irwin died too. That was one of the more surprising pieces of news that I heard this week. It's such a sad week don't you think? Yeah, at least Steve Irwin died doing his favourite thing, observing animals. Pity for him, he caught the stingray when it was PMS-ing. Kelvin was telling me about how he wanted to torture the stingray over and over again. Aiya but what the heck, I bet the stingray attacked Steve as selfdefence. It's not really its fault.... Ohwell.
lol and I've been thinking. Perhaps Desiree's friend and Steve Irwin might meet in Heaven together! That would be a nice thought. Like, HEYY!! I WATCHED YOUR SHOWS BEFORE! OH CRICKY!
lame lah.
My harddrive died on me today too. Goddamnshit. It was fine 15minutes ago and now its gone!!! I think it was electrocuted or something because it was suddenly disconnected when files were transferred to it. Shit lah, these are some of the drawbacks of electronics. They are easy to use, and easy to destroy as well. Crap this.
And really, I think the world is too overdependant on electronics. It's like, no adult can ever survive without a handphone; no office can ever run without computers; and even the most basic stuff like, no one can ever survive without the lights on and so on and on. Electronics really play a big part in our lives, and yeah I guess we'll start taking it for granted. But we always have to have precautionary measures, lest one day this luxury gets taken away from us. The fact is that, we can't really think of any now. ><
Talking about all this reminds me of Animatrix. Animatrix is a series of small movies all compiled into one. I remember there was one movie which got me thinking. This movie was somewhat like the Matrix except that it was more gory. It was talking about humans being overreliant on robots and illtreating them whatsoever. Until one day (I don't know how they did it but they just did), one robot decided to start a rebel, and the robots started overthrowing mankind and taking over the world. It was chaotic and really gruesome, the scenes about brain-in-vats were coming alive, and we could see how greedy and maniacal the human brain can be when driven to desperation.
It also got me thinking about, how we should never rely on something too much, because it may either backfire, or turn the tables on us one day. We should all learn to be adaptable and independant. We should learn to accept change and manipulate the situation to suit us. That is how different humans are from animals.
geez, this is such a spur of the moment post. It's not that interesting I guess. I shall post about something lame and funny later in the day, or maybe tomorrow perhaps.
Ohyah, I suddenly remembered that I ponned NYT monthly shoot today. >< Dang, I gotta train. I gotta to do SPIRE, I gotta mug!! The sad life of an IP student.
