Hokkaido - Tokyo 2007 [Introduction]

This post is going to be darnnnnnnnnnn long! I have exactly 268 pictures in my shutterfly account! Here are some that I have specially selected (:

I went to Hokkaido-Tokyo on the 23rd December 2007, and it was greaaaaaaaaat fun! Not only did I manage to see snow, I finally got to go to Japan - the country of my dreams ahh~!~ But I didn't really talk much japanese at all -_- Damn lame

We arrived at the airport rather early; I think we were the earliest -_- Yeah but this part is not important. Ironically, I took the most pictures even before I got to Japan -_-

Well, yeah, the whole airplane ride was 7h, and I only managed to catch one movie - Transformers. It was... yeah, not bad. Lots of machinery and stuff, but I think I would've enjoyed it more if I watched it at a cinema. Had lots of difficulty sleeping too, no matter how hard I tried. And it was darn uncomfortable cos it was so cramped -_-

We got to Haneda Airport soon enough, I forgot what time. It was so exciting! And my fatigue was immediately washed away once I received the first icy cold breeze. It was pleasant though, unlike Beijing, where the winds are biting. And I saw the first vending machine! You know there are 4 million vending machines in the whole of Japan! :O But they sell darn cool stuff.

I like their macdonalds too. Pokemon is Japan's pride and glory. And Disneyland too. Japan loves their children.

After that, we took a domestic flight to Hokkaido! Oh man, I hated that flight, since the plane was so darn stuffy, and although I managed to sleep, I woke up feeling darn uncomfortable. I held my pee for the whole 2h flight -_-

Yes! And finally, we reached Sapporo Airport! Sapporo is a part of Hokkaido. Hmm... I had a rather bad impression of Japanese when I got there since they were ordering us around -_- But wahhh, Japanese really have good complexion man! Their skin is sparkling clear! :DD And there was this other Japanese guy who had thick lips :\ He looked like a Hong Kong actor.

Finally, we took a bus to our ryokan! A traditional Japanese hotel, you know those with mattresses and straw mats for floors. The whole journey was about an hour+, well I slept for most of the ride. It was amazing to see the snowcapped grounds and trees in the environment. The day ended pretty early too; it was already pitch dark by 4:30pm!

Okay, our ryokan was tiny, miniature, like superrrr small! my sisters and I shared one room, and when we layed out the mattresses, the whole room didn't have much space left after all.

There was an onsen in the ryokan too, and yea... it was like one of those traditional ones, where you have to take off all our clothes. I wanted to try it out since Hokkaido was pretty famous for their onsens, but my sisters were quite intimidated by the fact that we have to enter naked. LOL. Eventually... we went in with my mother! Ah~~ The onsen was heavenly too ^__^ It was a comfortable goodnights' sleep.

i love salmon
